ASTM B444 UNS N06625 Inconel 625 Nickel Alloy Steel Pipe
According to ASTM B444, the Inconel 625 Clad Pipes are usually cold worked. Generally, this cold worked Inconel 625 Seamless Pipe can be supplied in 2 conditions i.e. grade and Grade 2. ASTM B444 UNS N06625 Gr 1 Pipes are supplied in an annealed condition, whereas Grade 2 is to be supplied in a solution annealed condition. Also designated as UNS N06625, the Material 2.4856 Alloy 625 Pipe is a host to many remarkable properties. Key among these properties is its resistance to corrosion. The Inconel 625 Pipes are considered to be a good fit for marine based applications for several reasons.
The main reason being that the alloy can not only withstand high stress in and out of the water, but it can also withstand stress across a wide range of temperatures. The Inconel 625 Pipe is also able to withstand highly acidic conditions. Moreover, the ASME Sb 444 UNS N06625 Alloy 625 Pipes exhibits properties such as high tensile strength as well as good creep resistance and good weldable properties, therefore, these pipes can be used in nuclear base applications.
